City Clerk

The City Clerk, appointed by the City Manager, is the custodian of the official records of the City of Chino, serves as Secretary to the Redevelopment Agency, and administers oaths and affirmations, including the Oath of Office for the Mayor and City Council. The City Clerk also serves as the City’s Filing Officer for campaign statements and conflict of interest statements as required by the Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC).

The City Clerk’s Office is responsible for the preparation and distribution of the agendas and minutes of all City Council meetings; processing all adopted ordinances and resolutions; coordinating all general municipal and special elections; responding to requests for public records; maintaining the City’s Municipal Code; and managing the Citywide records management program.
