The Chino Experience, located at the corner of Central Avenue and “B” Street, is a state of the art Teen Center for students in 7th - 9th grades. The center offers youth the ability to participate in supervised programs and activities with their peers, in a safe, fun and positive environment. The center will also be offering numerous workshops for students and parents to assist in planning for college. Membership is only $5.00 per month, which allows participants full use of all center amenities as well as a shuttle service that escorts participants from the following locations: Briggs Elementary School, Don Antonio Lugo High School, Ramona and Magnolia Junior High Schools. Registration for the shuttle service is required and is available at the Neighborhood Activity center, located at 5201 D Street. The center also provides after school enrichment classes, special events, dances, excursions and live band music showcases. Offered on the 1st Friday of each month at the Neighborhood Activity Center (5201 “D” Street) from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. School dress code strictly enforced. A parent or guardian signed Dance waiver is required for entry and may also be obtained prior to the dance at the center. TAC tries to identify youth-related issues of concern and serve in an advisory capacity to the Community Services Commission in recommending solutions as related to programs or projects in the City of Chino.
