Register to vote!

Residents can pick up voter registration forms at the receptionist / information counter on the first floor of City Hall. Forms are mailed directly to the Registrar’s Office in San Bernardino.

Residents can also visit the County Registrar’s Office at 777 East Rialto Avenue, San Bernardino, CA 92415-0770.

Visit the San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters or the California Secretary of State website for district maps, polling locations and more.

Local Elections

The Chino Special Election for Ballot Measure V will be held on March 24, 2015.  Ballot Measure information may be found on the City's website.  The last day to register to vote for this election is March 9, 2015.

Mayor and City Council elections are held in November of even-numbered years. The Mayor and four Council Members each serve the City at large, for 4-year terms, which are staggered.

The Mayor is directly elected, separately from the Council Members. The Mayor Pro Tem is selected by the entire City Council.

City Council and Commission Meeting Times

All City Council and Commission meetings are held in the City Council Chambers, unless specifically noted otherwise.

City Council Meetings take place on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month at 7:00 p.m.

Planning Commission Meetings take place of the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month at 7:00 p.m.

Community Services Commission Meetings take place of the 4th Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m.
