Anonymous Tip Lines
Chino PD makes it easy to report crimes. It's important that our community always has a way to connect with us. Therefore, we have partnered with We-Tip. If you have information about a crime that has occurred in Chino or anywhere in the United States, you may be elligible for a reward. Simply call 1 (800) 78-CRIME. The call is completely anonymous. We-Tip will submit the information you provide to the proper investigating agency for follow up. If your tip leads to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator, you may be eligible for a reward of up to $1000. For more information about this organization, go to We-Tip.com.
Citations(Parking and Appeals) Information
The City of Chino contracts the management of citations to a third party vendor. To look-up a citation, to pay or to appeal, please visit: https://www.citationprocessingcenter.com/ or call 800-989-2058.
Payment Plans can be requested through the city’s citation processing provider for an additional fee. Requests can not be submitted online for this and should be done by calling:800-989-2058
Indigency Fees and Reduced Payment Plans
Proof of indigency may be: Income criteria set forth in subdivision (a) of section 68632 of the Gov Code. Benefit assistance of any program in subdivision (b) of section 68632 of the Gov Code. Examples: Pay Stubs, Bank Statements or Benefit Cards.
Chino PD has partnered with crimemapping.com to provide neighborhood crime reports on a daily basis. This information is updated once a day. The data does not include general calls for service or police activity with no report. In addition, some case types are withheld in order to comply with law and protect victims’ rights, such as in most sexual assaults, crimes against children, domestic violence and calls that are medical in nature. Some case data may change if the investigation is ongoing and more information about the crime is available.
Community members can type in an address and time frame by date to view detailed information about crimes within the requested area.

The State of California Department of Justice Registered Sex Offender Database with information on sex offenders is available on line. Visit the Megan's Law website (www.meganslaw.ca.gov) to access this information.
The database may be searched by name, county of residence, or by zip code. Searches by City or address are not permitted. The database contains photographs, physical descriptions and offenses the registrant was convicted of. The database does not proved addresses of registered sex offenders. The database provides information in 13 different languages.
Truck Route Information
The City of Chino's truck route map is available to download.
10.44.025 - Commercial vehicles traveling off truck routes prohibited when.
When any truck routes are established pursuant to this chapter, the operator of any vehicle exceeding a gross vehicle weight rating of ten thousand pounds (five tons) shall drive said vehicle only on such routes, and none other, except that nothing in this section shall prohibit the operator of any vehicle exceeding a maximum gross weight rating of ten thousand pounds coming from a truck route having ingress and egress by direct route to and from restricted streets when necessary for the purpose of making pickups or deliveries of goods, wares or merchandise from or to any place, building or structure located on such restricted streets for which a building permit has previously been obtained.
This is enforceable with an administrative citation, having a fine amount of $ 250.00 for the first offense.
