Common Codes


The City of Chino has adopted a number of ordinances over the years to create and maintain a healthy, safe, and pleasant environment in which to live, work, and play. Some ordinances were enacted in response to health and safety concerns such as preventing the spread of fires or ensuring the structural integrity of existing structures. Other codes were designed to help maintain the appearance of Chino’s business districts. Together, these ordinances provide a framework to preserve property values, and assure a clean, attractive and successful business environment that benefits business owners, consumers, and the community at large.
