The two-story Carolyn Owens Community Center is the newest City of Chino facility built in 2007.
Guided by Community Services Department staff, the first floor of this modern facility provides a multi-purpose room to conduct trainings and meetings in a classroom setting, state-of-the-art pottery room, up to date physical activity room, and two Tiny Tots level classrooms. The first floor reception area also provides the residents of Chino an opportunity to register for recreational classes, facility rentals, pavilion rentals, and after school program registration. The Healthy Chino programs also operates out of the first floor of the Carolyn Owens Community Center.
The second story houses the Human Service portion of the Community Services Department. As part of our commitment to improving the quality of family life and the safety of our neighborhoods, Chino Human Services provides counseling, prevention education, intervention, and referral services to residents.
