The Chino Senior Center offers a variety of social services for seniors (50+) in the community.

P.A.T.C.H. (Prescription Assistance through Community Help)

A program that assists eligible Chino seniors, (60+) with the purchase of life sustaining medications.  Donations are gladly accepted from individuals, corporations, or service clubs at the Chino Senior Center.

Lions Club Eye Glasses Program

The program is available to Chino seniors, (60+), who meet the program qualifications.  The program provides complete eye exams, eyeglasses, frames, and lenses.

Educational Workshops

Educational presentations designed specifically to address the needs of older adults.  Different topics will be facilitated by various organizations and care provider agencies on the last Friday of each month from 10:15 - 11:00 a.m.

DAAS (Department of Aging and Adult Services)

An agency representative will assist with social services referrals and provide bus passes to seniors, (60+), when available, on 2nd Wednesday and 4th Monday of each month.

Alzheimer's Support Group

A Community Connection MSW staff will facilitate a group discussion for care givers to learn how to cope and help care for a loved one with Alzheimer's disease on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month.

Additional Services

Senior Companion Program

Recruiting 55+ active, fixed income seniors to assist other seniors in their homes.  Senior Companions will receive a modest monthly stipend.  They will assist with daily living activities, such as shopping, preparing meals, running errands, and providing companionship to alleviate the loneliness that so many homebound seniors experience.  For more information, please contact (909) 621-9900, extension 222.
