Project Description
The ST162 - Street Rehabilitation - Pipeline Avenue Project and TR171 - Traffic Signal Modifications at Grand at Spectrum East & West and Grand Avenue Paving Projects are part of the City's Capital Improvement Program aimed at improving road conditions on Grand Avenue from Roswell to Pipeline Avenue, Pipeline Avenue from Grand Avenue to Eucalyptus Avenue, and the SR-71 Off-Ramp. Expect intermittent and alternating lane closures on Grand Avenue from SR-71 to Pipeline Avenue 7:00 am-4:00 pm to complete paving work for the duration of the project.

Project Schedule / Milestones
March 8 - March 10 Cold Mill operations begin at Grand Avenue and SR-71 off-ramp and will move east.
March 14-15 – Rain Days
March 13 - March 17 Work begins on Pipeline Avenue at Grand Avenue and moves south. Additionally, asphalt work will continue on Grand Avenue at the SR-71 off-ramp and move east towards Pipeline Avenue. SR-71 Off-Ramp to be closed as asphalt work is completed.
March 20 - March 31 Cap paving begins at Pipeline Avenue and Eucalyptus Avenue and moves north to Grand Avenue.
April 17 to April 21 Restriping
May 12 - Project Completed
Project Updates
Road closures are complete, crews are currently working on concrete, striping and paving work.
Traffic Impacts
Starting on Grand Avenue from SR-71 to Pipeline Avenue, intermittent and alternating lane closures will be implemented between 7am and 4pm in order to finish the paving work. Drivers in the surrounding area should be prepared for possible delays due to the construction. Although all lanes will be reopened each day after 4:00 pm, it's important to note that the road surface may still be uneven until the entire project is completed.
