Starting with the meeting on May 2, 2023, the regular meetings of the Chino City Council will begin at 6:00 p.m., instead of the previous time of 7:00 p.m. Closed session meetings of the City Council will be scheduled prior to the regular meeting start time of 6:00 p.m., but no earlier than 4:00 p.m. This change was adopted by the City Council at its March 21, 2023 meeting to increase transparency and resident participation.
To provide consistency with the City of Chino public meeting start times, the regular meeting times of the Planning Commission and Community Services Commission are also being adjusted. Effective May 2023, the Planning Commission's regular meetings will be held on the third Wednesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. Similarly, starting in May, the Community Services Commission's meetings will be held on the fourth Monday of every month at 6:00 p.m.
