Flood Watch in Effect: Prepare for Incoming Storms
The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch from Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday evening, along with a Wind Advisory for Wednesday, 3 AM to 10 PM.
Rain is in the forecast starting Tuesday evening through Wednesday, with the heaviest rain expected Wednesday morning through the afternoon. South winds of 15–25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph are also expected.
Free Sandbags Available
The Chino Valley Fire District is offering free sandbags to help residents prepare. Please note: you must fill your own sandbags.

- Fire Station 61 – 5078 Schaefer Avenue
- Fire Station 63 – 7550 Kimball Avenue
- Fire Station 67 – 5980 Riverside Drive
How to Stay Safe and Informed
- Sign up for emergency notifications through Chino Notify.
- Limit travel during peak storm periods.
- Report flooding, downed City trees, or storm debris over the weekend by calling (909) 628-1234.
- Never drive through floodwaters: Turn Around, Don’t Drown.
- Stay away from downed power lines – report them immediately to 1-800-611-1911 (Southern California Edison).
