Title: Council Member, District 3


Council Member Marc Lucio is a dedicated public servant and retired police captain who served for 26 years. He and his family have lived in the City of Chino since 2003, he was elected to Council in November 2022 representing District 3. 

Council Member Lucio serves as the City's representative to the Citizens’ Advisory Committee for the California Institution for Men (CIM) and CIW (California Institute for Women), and also serves as part of the Chaffey College Chino Community Center Oversight Committee. He is the City’s representative for the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) as part of the General Assembly and the League of California Cities Inland Empire Division. Council Member Lucio also serves as the Council liaison for the Chino Public Financing Authority, Economic Development Committee, the Infrastructure/Streets Committee, and serves as the liaison to County Representatives for the Chino Airport and Prado Regional Park.  

He is a supporter of local nonprofits, such as the Chino Boxing Club, which works to provide self-esteem, self-respect, character development, discipline, and teaches a sense of pride to community members in the City of Chino. He is also a strong supporter of youth wrestling. Council Member Lucio is also a member of the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO). 

He obtained his bachelor's degree in criminology from the University of La Verne, and his master's degree in executive leadership from the University of Southern California.

Council Member Lucio serves on the City Council with the goal of supporting public safety, road and infrastructure improvements, economic development, and the promotion of impactful programs for seniors, youth, and working families. 

His Council term of office runs through 2026.
