Bicyclist Killed in Collision with VehicleOn February 1, 2020 at 7:24 p.m. Chino Police Officers responded to a report of a traffic collision between a vehicle and a bicyclist in the 5100 block of Philadelphia Street. Upon arrival, officers and paramedics found a 37-year-old male bicyclist suffering from severe trauma. Paramedics transported the male to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. 

The driver of the vehicle is a 21-year-old female from Mira Loma, California. She remained at the scene and has cooperated with the investigation. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a part in the collision.  The cause of the collision is currently under investigation.  The roadway was closed for several hours while members of the Traffic Unit conducted their investigation.
